before your appointment
- Please arrive to the clinic with a clean face, with no makeup or other products.
- Avoid sun exposure, knowing we cannot treat over sun burned or otherwise compromised skin.
- If you have any active sores, lesions, infections, or skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, or a rash, you may need to be rescheduled.
- Aggressive exfoliation, waxing and products containing acids should be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of 14 days pre-treatment.
- Avoid the use of Retin-A type products for 2 weeks pre-treatment.
- If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, you cannot be treated.
- If you are currently taking accutane, you cannot be treated.
- Please reschedule your appointment if you have had esthetic fillers or injections or facial laser treatments in the last 14 days.
- Clients must be at least 18 years old.
after your appointment
- Temporary irritation, tightness, or redness are normal reactions and typically resolve within 72 hours.
- Some clients may also experience tingling and stinging in the treatment area.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for 3 days and use a minimum zinc oxide SPF 40 sunscreen.
- Avoid the use of Retin-A type products for 2 weeks post-treatment.
- Aggressive exfoliation, waxing and products containing acids should be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of 2 weeks post-treatment. Gentle exfoliation may be resumed 3 days post-treatment if no prolonged side effects persist.
- You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin will feel smooth and hydrated for one to two weeks. For improved, longer lasting results, consider monthly Hydrafacial treatments.
